• NCL Europe Volcanic Eruption Travel Alert

Travel disruption due to Icelandic volcanic eruption.

Please note that all Norwegian Cruise Line ships are operating as scheduled.

We are continuing to closely monitor the situation and can currently advise:

Inbound Guests to Barcelona or Venice - who are scheduled to travel with Norwegian Cruise Line this week should continue to monitor airline websites for the latest status on their flights.

Cruise Only Guests: We will be adhering to our standard terms and conditions. Therefore, regrettably, if guests have booked flights independently and are unable to travel, then standard cancellation charges apply. Cruise only guests with travel insurance will need to submit a claim to their insurance provider.

Outbound Guests heading back to the U.S: Now that most airports have re-opened, Norwegian Cruise Line will book our fly-cruise package guests on the earliest available flights. We will continue to update our fly-cruise guests on the status of their flights. Anyone with a reservation for a fly-cruise package provided by a company other than Norwegian Cruise Line should contact that company or their travel partner directly for advice regarding their flight. Guests with travel insurance will need to submit a claim to their insurance provider for any additional costs incurred.

Guests who have purchased Norwegian's BookSafe enhanced trip cancellation feature are able to cancel for any time up until departure. Please see our website for further details on BookSafe.
